Anthropic Extends Claude Cowork to Web and Mobile, Keeping Tasks Running After Laptop Closes

Anthropic has rolled out its AI agent feature "Claude Cowork" in beta on the web (claude.ai) and iOS/Android apps, introducing a setup where tasks keep running in the cloud even after you close your laptop. Cowork sessions that previously ran inside the desktop app can now execute remotely in an isolated environment on Anthropic's servers. The rollout starts with the Max plan and will expand gradually.
