The United Nations and its specialized agency, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), are launching a new body called the "AI for Good Global Commission" aimed at shaping global AI rules. Its inaugural meeting will take place on July 8, 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland, during the AI for Good Global Summit 2026. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff and Rwandan President Paul Kagame will serve as co-chairs, according to reporting.
