The Trump administration has opened a $50 million State Department competition to build a “Silicon Highway” for critical AI goods, using cryptographic cargo verification and AI-assisted customs screening to fast-track trusted shipments. The pilot will begin in Panama and is designed to expand to other Pax Silica partners.
