OpenAI has released its first piece of branded hardware: a $230 mechanical macropad built to control its Codex coding agents, made in collaboration with peripheral maker Work Louder and sold in a limited run. The device, listed as kbd-1.0-codex-micro and dubbed the Codex Micro, marks the company's initial foray into shipping physical products under its own name.
