A new open-source directory called awesome-finance-mcp has organized dozens of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and AI "skills" that let AI agents pull stock market data, execute trades and run crypto analytics. The list, maintained by BlockRun (BlockRunAI), is being circulated among developers as a reference point for wiring financial data and execution tools directly into agents such as Claude Code and other command-line assistants.
