Anthropic to End Subscription Access to Claude Fable 5 on July 7

Anthropic said access to its top-tier "Claude Fable 5" model within subscriptions will end at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific time on July 7, 2026, after which it will be offered only through usage credits. The model itself remains available, but it will be removed from the fixed allowances of the Claude Pro, Max and Team plans, as well as select Enterprise plans. According to the official announcement, as of the July 1 redeployment the affected plans include Fable 5 for up to 50% of weekly usage limits through July 7, after which it becomes available via usage credits.
