Anthropic said it has fixed a roughly 30-minute glitch that briefly prevented users from selecting Claude Fable 5, its flagship coding model, inside Claude.ai and Claude Code. Affected users were advised to restart Claude Code and, if Fable was not restored as the default, to reselect it via the /model command.
