Meta Platforms is in early-stage negotiations to lease as much as $10 billion of computing capacity from its AI data centers to Anthropic over two years, a deal that would recast the social media giant as a supplier of the very resource it is spending record sums to build. The arrangement, first proposed by Anthropic in June, is still under consideration and may not come to fruition, with both companies declining to comment.
