Anthropic on July 7, 2026 announced that its AI agent "Claude Cowork" will support mobile apps and web browsers. Tasks handed off on the desktop keep running even after the laptop is closed, and finished work can be picked up on a phone while away. The beta will roll out over the coming weeks, starting with Max plan users.
