On June 30, 2026, X began offering an official hosted MCP server called "hosted X MCP" that lets AI tools connect directly to the platform's API. MCP-compatible clients such as Claude, Cursor and Grok Build can now invoke more than 200 of X's API endpoints as tools using natural language.
