HLBuilder, an Open-Source Tool for Designing Homelab Networks and Generating Hardware Shopping Lists, Draws Attention

A new open-source web application called HLBuilder aims to simplify the often-daunting process of planning a home server lab by combining visual network design, automatic IP allocation, and hardware shopping-list generation in a single tool. The project, hosted on GitHub, lets users lay out network topologies on an interactive canvas and then produces tiered hardware recommendations and purchase lists tailored to their self-hosting goals.
