Reve 2.1, the image model from independent lab Reve AI, has reached 2nd place overall on the Image Editing Arena of the crowdsourced Design Arena benchmark with an Elo rating of 1339. That is 10 points higher than the previous Reve 2.0, narrowing the gap to leader GPT Image 2 from OpenAI. The update is also said to establish a new Pareto frontier in the trade-off between quality (Preference) and Speed. The change was reflected on the leaderboard on July 9, 2026.
