China's Moonshot AI released Kimi K2.7 Code, a large language model specialized for coding, on June 12 and published it as open weights. In mid-June it followed up with a latency-optimized "HighSpeed" variant and the terminal-based agent "Kimi Code CLI," continuing a run of weekly feature updates.
