NVIDIA has released Cosmos 3 Edge, a compact 4-billion-parameter open world model designed to run directly on robots, autonomous vehicles and vision-based AI agents rather than in the data center. The model, published to Hugging Face and GitHub around July 20, 2026, is positioned as an "open frontier world model built to run on-device," extending NVIDIA's push into physical AI by bringing frontier-class reasoning and generation to edge hardware.
