Cognition, the developer of the autonomous coding agent Devin, says it has multiplied its revenue and grown its team nearly eightfold in the year since acquiring Windsurf, a milestone the company marked on July 14 with a detailed account of the integration. In the twelve months since the deal, Cognition says it shipped dozens of new features, added hundreds of millions of dollars in annual recurring revenue, and published frontier AI research, according to a company blog post titled "One Year of Building Together."
