ZTE, through its nubia brand, has released the nubia M153, an engineering prototype it describes as the world's first "fully agentic" AI smartphone, developed with ByteDance and sold in limited quantities in China where it reportedly sold out on its first day. The device went on sale on December 1, 2025, and was later showcased as an "AI-native phone" at MWC Barcelona 2026.
