Meta has introduced a new line of self-branded AI smartglasses starting at $299, its most affordable wearable to date, as the company doubles down on always-on eyewear as the next major computing platform. Developed with longtime partner EssilorLuxottica, the Meta Glasses went on sale June 23 without the Ray-Ban or Oakley branding that defined earlier models, arriving in three frame styles—MetaAdventurer, MetaFury, and a MetaGlassesbyKylie collaboration—across 26 color, lens, and frame combinations, with support for prescription lenses.
