An open-source toolkit called watermarks-remover has been released to clean several classes of machine-readable AI provenance from text and files associated with Claude, Gemini and OpenAI. It can deterministically remove invisible Unicode controls and hard-bound metadata, but its own documentation warns that statistical text marks, pixel watermarks and soft-bound credentials may survive.
