More than 160 U.S. enterprise software startups are under mounting pressure to sell this year as venture funding tilts toward artificial intelligence and public software valuations sink, according to a new report from The Information. The companies in question are mostly private and each carry valuations of at least $1 billion, and those actively remaking themselves around AI are seen as the most attractive to potential buyers.
