Neon, the Oscar-winning independent distributor, has acquired the worldwide rights to 'Artificial,' Luca Guadagnino's new film about OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. The rights had originally been held by Amazon MGM Studios, which dropped the project after Amazon announced a major investment in OpenAI. Neon secured the film through a bidding process and is said to be planning a push for the 2026 awards season.
