OpenAI has begun selling its first self-branded piece of hardware, a compact programmable macro pad called Codex Micro, priced at $230 through its official OpenAI Supply store. The device, formally named kbd-1.0-codex-micro, was developed in collaboration with keyboard maker Work Louder and went on sale on July 15, 2026, offered as a limited run with a choice of Silent or Clicky switches.
