A newly released open-source extension for OpenAI's Codex agent promises to turn a startup's website into a scored, evidence-backed list of prospective first customers with a single command. The tool, called codex-first-customer-finder-skill and published around July 13, 2026 by developer Kappaemme on GitHub, targets one of the hardest problems for early-stage founders: finding people who actually have the problem their product solves.
