Meta (Meta Superintelligence Labs) released the AI model "Muse Spark 1.1" on July 9, 2026, and began evaluation in Agent Arena, which measures real-world agentic capabilities. The model is a significant upgrade over the original Muse Spark released in April 2026, and its performance is measured on long-horizon agentic tasks using tools such as web search, filesystem, and terminal. It was also added to the Battle Modes of Text Arena, Vision Arena, and Code Arena: Frontend, and a public preview of the new Meta Model API was made available to developers. In the Meta AI app and at meta.ai, it is offered as a "Thinking" mode.
