Nvidia has entered a strategic partnership with d-Matrix, a startup building AI inference-focused chips, to construct a hybrid system that pairs both companies' hardware within the same rack. According to reporting by The Information, Nvidia is combining its Blackwell GPU with d-Matrix's Corsair inference accelerator to boost AI model inference. The report notes that Nvidia appears to be accepting a future with many different AI accelerators coexisting while still holding and expanding its dominant market position.
