Meta is developing prototype AI glasses, dubbed "super sensing," that use cameras and microphones to continuously record a wearer's surroundings. Referred to internally by codenames such as "SSG" (supersensing glasses) and "Artemis," the devices capture video and audio continuously or on an ambient basis and feed the data into AI systems to power memory assistance, contextual reminders and multimodal AI interactions.
