The US Commerce Department has lifted export restrictions on Anthropic's AI models "Claude Fable 5" and "Claude Mythos 5," and Anthropic announced it will restore global access starting July 1. Anthropic received notification on the evening of June 30 and redeployed the models after adding a new cybersecurity classifier. Fable 5 became available on claude.ai, Claude Platform, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and others starting July 1 (Anthropic).
