Around July 9, 2026, Anthropic manually reset the 5-hour session limits and weekly usage caps for all Claude users, fully restoring consumed quotas across paid and free tiers. Those affected include subscribers to Claude Code, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise, who regained their full allowances without upgrading or taking any action. The reset came shortly after the releases of xAI's Grok 4.5 and OpenAI's GPT-5.6.
