Microsoft AI said on June 11, 2026 that it had completed a 100% rollout of its in-house small coding model "MAI-Code-1-Flash" to all personal GitHub Copilot plans (Free / Education / Pro / Pro+ / Max) in VS Code. A rollout to Copilot CLI and an Enterprise/Business preview are said to be coming soon.
