On July 9, Meta unveiled Muse Spark 1.1, a multimodal reasoning model built by Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL), and opened a public preview of the Meta Model API, its first paid model API for developers. Focused on tool use, computer use, coding and agentic tasks, the model is available immediately in the "Thinking" mode of the Meta AI app and meta.ai, and according to the official blog is also offered to outside developers via the API.
