Anthropic has begun localizing its Claude subscription pricing in Indian rupees, a long-requested change for what the company calls its second-largest market after the United States. The rollout, appearing for some users in mid-July 2026, replaces dollar-denominated billing on the claude.ai website and mobile apps with prices shown in rupees and inclusive of local taxes.
