Security firm Huntress says it caught an intruder running a suspected AI-generated PowerShell script that automatically inventoried a victim's Active Directory environment and packaged the results for theft. The finding, detailed in an early-July analysis, is being cited as one of the clearest observed examples yet of an attacker leaning on a large language model to build custom intrusion tooling on the fly.
