Open 9B Model Qwythos Adds 1M-Token Context, Gains 34 Points on MMLU

Empero AI in June 2026 released Qwythos-9B-Claude-Mythos-5-1M, an open-weight model built by full-parameter fine-tuning of Qwen3.5-9B. Using YaRN rope-scaling it handles roughly one million tokens of context and claims stronger tool use and long-form reasoning despite its 9B size.
