OpenAI to Open GPT-5.6 to the Public July 10 After US Commerce Approval

OpenAI said it has secured approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce for a broad public launch of its next-generation GPT-5.6 model family. After an initial rollout limited at the government's request, the restrictions have been lifted, and GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra and Luna are set to launch publicly on July 10.
