Alibaba's Tongyi Lab has released Wan-Dancer-14B, an open-source model that turns a reference image and a music track into minute-scale, rhythmically synchronized dance videos that can run locally. The 14-billion-parameter model, published around July 13–14, 2026, arrives with weights, inference code and example scripts under a permissive license, extending the company's Wan video-generation series into choreography.
