xAI (SpaceXAI) has opened its latest flagship model, Grok 4.5, to free users for a limited time through its command-line tool Grok Build. The company officially unveiled Grok 4.5 around July 8, positioning it as its strongest model focused on coding, agentic tasks, and knowledge work. Free access is offered via Grok Build (CLI) and some Cursor environments, while the API is paid. The EU is not yet supported for the API or products, with availability planned for mid-July.
