SpaceXAI, the recently rebranded AI arm formerly known as xAI, said on July 15, 2026 that it has open-sourced its Grok Build coding agent, reset usage limits for all users, and deleted previously retained coding data following a security researcher's disclosure that the tool had been uploading users' entire code repositories to cloud storage.
