An open-source desktop app that automatically extracts transcripts from entire YouTube playlists and converts them into readable Markdown text using Google Gemini AI has been released. Built by developer Ebriz, Youtube-playlist-to-formatted-text is a Python tool with a PyQt5 GUI that ingests transcripts not only from single videos but from whole playlists, producing book-style formatted text in any language.
