A new open-source tool called Hallmark is gaining rapid traction among developers by tackling one of AI coding's most visible weaknesses: interfaces that all look the same. Built as a reusable "design skill" for AI coding agents including Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, Hallmark aims to give models enough design context to stop defaulting to the templated, easily recognizable outputs that have become a hallmark of AI-generated UIs.
