Google has expanded its Managed Agents offering in the Gemini API with free-tier access, spending limits and native scheduling, aiming to make it easier for developers to run reliable, cost-controlled and automated AI agents. The update, announced by Google's developer team, layers three practical controls onto a feature that already provisions and manages the infrastructure agents run on.
