AIDE Index Launches to Rank S&P 500 Firms on AI Adoption

The AI-Driven Enterprise Institute (AIDE), co-founded by MIT Sloan senior lecturer Paul Cheek, has released the 2026 AIDE Index, an objective ranking of AI adoption across all S&P 500 companies. Nvidia, Amazon, Meta and SLB topped the sector-normalized scores at 100 points, Bloomberg reported on July 6, 2026. The index went live around June 1, 2026, with scores, sector rankings and classifications for every constituent available on the institute's site.
