Image generator Midjourney has asked a federal court to compel Disney, Universal and Warner Bros. Discovery — the studios suing it for copyright infringement — to hand over broad discovery about their own internal use of AI. As part of its defense, Midjourney demanded internal materials including the studios' AI business plans, research reports, training datasets, model weights and board meeting presentations, Variety reported.
