Google has extended Chrome DevTools to AI coding agents, giving tools such as Gemini CLI, Cursor, Claude Code and Codex the ability to run, inspect and verify their own generated code inside a live Chrome browser. The capability, called Chrome DevTools for agents, was showcased by Chrome Developer Relations Engineer Matthias Rohmer at Google I/O Connect India in a session titled "Create a closed feedback loop: Chrome DevTools for agents."
