A group of rank-and-file OpenAI employees have donated more than $215,000 to Guardrails Alliance, a super PAC pushing for stronger artificial intelligence regulation and directly opposing Leading the Future, the pro-AI political network backed by the company's own president, Greg Brockman. The donations, drawn from seven current staffers and one former employee, mark an unusual public rift between workers and leadership over how aggressively Washington should police the technology they are building.
