OpenAI and Google reportedly supplied AI to firms on Pentagon's Chinese-military list

The Financial Times reported on July 10, 2026 that OpenAI and Google (Alphabet) had provided access to frontier AI models to the Singapore subsidiaries of Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent, all of which are on the Pentagon's list of Chinese military-linked companies.
