Tsinghua Team Releases OmniScientist, an AI-Agent Framework to Automate Scientific Discovery

A research team from Tsinghua University's FIB LAB and Zhongguancun Academy has unveiled OmniScientist, a framework that uses LLM agents to automate research steps from literature review through peer review. The work was released on arXiv in November 2025 (arXiv:2511.16931), with an official repository collecting the related papers available on GitHub.
