Google DeepMind's Gemini 3.5 Flash has risen an average of eight ranks across code-related categories on the design-focused benchmark Design Arena from its predecessor, and jumped 15 ranks in the Mobile Arena to take 4th place with an Elo of 1257. The top spots are held by Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6, with Flash sitting just behind them.
