China's Z.ai (formerly Zhipu AI) has released GLM-5.2, a flagship model aimed at long-horizon, autonomous coding. The rollout began around June 13, 2026 across all GLM Coding Plan tiers (Lite/Pro/Max/Team), with general availability around June 16. Offered as an MIT-licensed open-weights model, it was detailed on the official blog and Hugging Face. It features a stable 1-million-token context window and is available via API and chat (Z.ai), as well as more than 20 platforms including Cloudflare Workers AI.
